Sooncheol Kim(b.1965) completes her artworks by sewing on hanji (traditional Korean paper) and coloring it. The juxtaposition of traditional subjects like flowers and moon jars with contemporary techniques allows her works to traverse the boundaries of the new and old. Through her artistic process, she subtly captures the enduring qualities, value, and beauty of time.
